Can anyone buy your products? TOP
Yes, we offer our products to retail, wholesale and consultant customers. What kind of commissions (discounts on orders) do Independent Country Gourmet Consultants receive? TOP
As a Independent Country Gourmet Consultant, you will receive 25%-40% off your orders, plus 3% to 10% from down-line sales. Additional free product credits are also awarded to our independent consultants who have active recruits.
In addition to your commission we also pay for all of your host rewards that they begin to earn from their party on orders of $50 and above. As a independent consultant you also receive any of these bonus items on personal orders you submit.
When a new independent consultant joins our company they will be sent discount codes to shop online and receive their discounts. Orders can be taken online, or mailed in to our office.
Commissions or discounts on orders are as follows:
25% on orders up to $100
35% on orders $101-$200
40% on orders $201-$1000
Plus on orders over $50 you or your host will begin to receive discounted products and or host bonuses.
*Independent consultants earn 3% to 10% on orders made by their down-line.
What are the sales quotas to remain active? TOP
To remain an active consultant all you have to do is have personal orders of $100 in product every 90 days ($25 for if you are on the basic consultant plan)*. That is less than $9 per week or $35 per month. If you fall under the sales quota and want to start back up all you have to do is place a $25 re-activating order and a $5 website fee is your site has been turned off. If you work your business you can easily have that much in reorders from your customers. Just give your customers a call monthly to see what they need. It's that easy!
*If you fall below the necessary quota, but you are close, do not worry, we will work with you if you have been active, but you must email us to request remaining active. Consultants who do not meet their quota will not be paid commissions earned from online orders.
We change our discount codes every quarter and send news one to those consultants who are active.
If you become inactive you will loose those consultants in your down-line as well as any commissions from your website orders that have not been payed out.

We do all credit card processing for our consultants. Simply follow the instructions for processing cards found in your consultant packet Do you offer consultants websites and may we sell online? TOP
Yes, each of our consultants will get their own personal mini site. Consultants direct their online customers to their site and earn the same commissions off their online sales. For example a customer goes through your site and places an order for $200. You as a consultant will be paid $80 of that sale 40%.* Commissions earned on our consultant websites are paid out monthly.
Consultants also get 3% to 10% of their recruits sales, paid out monthly*. This is a first line commission only. We are not multi level and do not requrie our consultants to recruit.
Consultants may also sell online other ways, but they must offer the products at our retail prices, not discounted prices. The purpose of Country Gourmet is to help others make money from home and this would conflict with other Country Gourmet Consultants.
*You must be an Active consultant with $100 in sales for that quarter in order to be paid commissions earned online.
Do you offer leadership opportunities? TOP
Country Gourmet does offer our consultants leadership benefits and commissions on team sales. However we are not a multi level and do not require our consultants to recruit. Recruiting is appreciated and rewarded, but not necessary to remain an active consultant. You may request more information on this by contacting us. Leadership benefits are only paid if the consultant has been active for the prior quarter.
How do I pay taxes? TOP
As a consultant you are considered Self Employed and responsible for paying taxes on your commissions and income you earn from selling our products.
Each state has different requirements for paying sales tax. You as a consultant are responsible for collecting and paying sales tax as it applies to your state. Please contact your local taxing authority in your state for information. Most states have this information available online and many do not charge tax on food items. Who pays for host rewards? TOP
We offer free host rewards for you or your host when their show reaches $50.
Please visit our host bonus chart for details found HERE. Are consultants required to keep inventory? TOP
No. Keeping inventory is expensive and time consuming for consultants. That is not what we are about. Consultants can purchase what they need to show samples and then collect orders. It generally takes 1-3 business days to process the order and 7 days for shipping. Consultants can tell their prospective clients to expect delivery of orders within 2 weeks.
How are commissions paid? TOP
Our consultants are given discount codes to receive their commissions up front on any orders they submit for themselves or for their host.
Online orders are tracked through the home office and paid out monthly. Can I be involved with other direct sales companies if I sign up with Country Gourmet Home? TOP
Yes*, you can sell our product lines along side other "family" friendly product lines.
Please check with your other company contract to ensure that you are not in violation of their terms.
*Gourmet Leaders who are selling other gourmet food mix lines are not eligible to receive leads from the home office.
