What is Wild Rice?

Country Gourmet Home uses the highest quality wild rice on the market. Our wild rice is gown in the Midwest from farmers that use environmentally friendly growing and harvesting processes. This rice is simply the best!

Our wild rice blends contain a premium roasted dark rice that has a wonderful nutty flavor when cooked. As with any wild rices these dark rice shafts keep an "al dente" texture when cooked adding texture to your rice and soup dishes.

To fully enjoy your wild rice blends make sure you don't compare the rice texture and softness to our white rice dishes. One of the unique characteristics of wild rice is its firm chewy texture, unlike the softer texture of a white rice blend.
